Going to New Image Dentistry was by far the worst dental experience I've ever had! I needed a root canal and a crown on my tooth and I was so thankful when the dentist could work me in, too bad it quickly turned into a nightmare. A process that should've taken two weeks turned into a month-long battle! Even just getting a temporary crown for my tooth was an extremely painful process. As I got choked up on fluids from not having enough suction provided. The pain from having the temporary crown placed on my tooth was unreal, I could feel every pinch, poke and point of pressure applied. But even after all that I was relieved when I went back 2 weeks later to receive my permanent crown. That is until I sat down in the chair! This not so joyful appointment began by removing my temporary crown without any numbing medication!! Which equates to the feeling of having your tooth pulled out with a pair of scissors!!! When I told the dental assistant it was painful her reply was "were almost done", and if that weren't enough I got choked up twice at this appointment with fluids, was scoffed at when my gum wouldn't stop bleeding from the constant poking to my gums and then had to pull a bloody piece of gauze out of my mouth to keep it from going down my throat after they "packed" my tooth. But the fun doesn't stop there..... after all this I was told that my crown fit but the dentist was uncomfortable with it as it caused a gap in my tooth that would cause further problems, so they would resend my crown to the lab and it would be another 2 weeks. Only, I was called back the next day to reschedule my appointment. I was told they had spoken with the lab and I could come back in. Well, it comes time for my appointment, and I was rescheduled 2 more times, and the 2nd time I was told it was because they "rushed my appointment". At this point I was just so over dealing with it I told them I just wanted a refund back, so I was refunded half of my money back and I was told they would write a statement to my insurance to help refresh my benefits that were used. After speaking with my dental insurance later on I found out there was no such thing as "writing a statement" and I was told I should be refunded more money from the dentist. So, a month later I finally received almost all of my money back and now have a slight phobia of the dentist. I went to Nona dentist and they did what New Image Dentistry couldn't accomplish in a month! I got a same day crown and an all-around better dental experience.
