I am rejecting this response because:
I was not in to try on my glasses on the 30th of April. I was in Olney, Maryland as I was on every Thursday evening until 8pm. I can provide written testimony of my presence in Olney that evening by my employer. Had that been the case, the obvious solution to this would be for me to get the prescription redone before leaving so I did not lose money by having to go to a new doctor in my home of Texas. I can also provide the new prescription that I was given from my new doctor, which is much different than that of which I received from New Era Eyecare. Proving that the prescription I received from your doctor was incorrect.

On 4/47/2015 [redacted] came in for an exam and purchased glasses from New Era Eyecare in Arlington Virginia. The total amount was for $529.00. Maria was the salesperson who assisted her. She only paid half of that which is $264.50. [redacted] was told the glasses will take about 2 weeks and...

her promise date was 5/1/2015. Maria called her and left a message on 4/27/2015 to inform [redacted] that her glasses order was ready for pick up. [redacted] claimed in her statement that she reached out to us a month after the initial exam to check status, however she returned to get her glasses on 4/30/2015, less than two weeks after her visit. She claimed the prescription was wrong upon the pick up, Mary was wearing her contact lenses when she picked up the glasses which often times requires an adjustment to the new prescription because of the vertex distance and cylinder changes. The prescription was checked by Dr [redacted](prescriber) and Dr Edwin A[redacted] on 05/01/2015 and it was correct. Maria called [redacted] to reassure her that the prescription was made correct as written. Maria also reassured [redacted] that we would allow her to see the Optometrist at no charge upon her return to evaluate spectacles and check her vision with the new glasses. The next time Maria spoke to [redacted] over the phone was 7/9/2015 and she explained that she was unhappy and wanted a refund. Maria explained to her that because of the customization of the order, we have a reprocessing fee of 30% and that her refund would be $105.00.Edwin A. O.D., Owner
