I had the misfortune to purchase cordwood from this businessClearly this is a sideline for themThey may be the best landscape and irrigation people out there but, in my opinion, they did a very poor job on my load of woodOn the positive side the wood was dry as advertised and was delivered promptly by a courteous driverFrom that point it ran downhillThe wood was unevenly cut and splitMany pieces required additional splitting to allow for handlingMore troubling was the fact that, despite agreeing to a specific length, around one quarter of the pieces were too long to fit into my stoveIt took me several calls to catch the owner inWhen I did he promised to swap me correct length wood for the too long piecesThis did not occurAfter several more calls I again caught him inHe then said he had gotten too busy to come back up so we agreed on a refund amount to cover my having to hire a friend to cut the wood to fit my stoveThat money never cameAt no time were my calls returned.It was always necessary to call repeatedly to reach the ownerLastly, as I piled the wood it became clear that I had gotten a surprising volume of debris with the cordwoodI had to carry off eight heaping carts full of gravel, sawdust and bark The whole transaction left me feeling cheated and as this transpired in the late spring of I no longer expect any satisfaction
