Review: I recently worked with John R[redacted] with New Earth Landscaping for the purpose of mowing my lawn every two weeks. Upon filling out an online for for the request via [redacted].com I had 4 companies compete for my business. John offered $45 ever two weeks to complete my lawn care needs - mowing of 1 acre of lawn every 2 weeks. Upon John's first scheduled visit, he already upped the price from $45 to $55 stating my yard was larger than he anticipated, despite my being very clear in my request form. Reluctantly I agreed to the $10 price difference. One week later John showed up to mow my lawn again, without acquiring prior permission from me, which went against our every 2 weeks initial agreement. I brought this to John's attention to which he simply argued with me stating that in his opinion my grass grows to fast for him to come every two weeks. Despite his opinion, this should have been discussed with me before showing up at my house expecting me to pay for what I consider additional services. Upon my complaint he offered me now $65.00 every two weeks with him going over my lawn twice due to the height of the grass. Again, reluctantly I agreed while I began the search for a replacement service. Despite this latest agreement John showed up yet again early, this time at 10 days, which is still 4 days too early. Therefore I have now paid for 4 lawn mowing services when I should have only had 2 scheduled appointments. I have since stopped service with New Earth Landscaping. John was very rude to work with and was combative with me over the schedule and other aspects of the mowing. During the end of this service, unfortunately I had my checking account hacked (fake checks were written on my account causing me to close my account). I have let John know about the situation and asked for some grace time with my final payment and I was threatened with legal action.I have all the emails between John and I if anyone would like to see them, I'm happy to provide them. More below ...Desired Settlement: Due to being threatened with legal action, I was given 7 days to make a payment vs a 30 day period. I have decided to pay and go through the Revdex.com to request a partial refund. I do not think it is fair to expect me to pay for all four lawn mowings when they were done out of our agreed time frame. I feel a fair refund would be $75, essentially refunding me for the final mowing of $65 which as 4 days early plus $10 from the previous mowing since he did not adhere to the new $65 every 2 weeks.
