contractor was paid for half of siding job up front. Contractor did purchase the materials and hung 2 side pieces but then never came back. now wont return phone messages or text. The materials were around $3300.00 I gave a $5600.00 deposit and would like the difference of my deposit back. This company is a scam!!!
One half deposit of $1700 made on 6/21/19 for work to be done to replace siding on front of house only. Finally got a definite date to be completed of August 15th. No show and no communication. Concerned we may have been scammed.
Just received confirmation from New Ara Home Improvement (after sending threatening text message since voice message was full) that they would be out tomorrow morning. Please put a hold on the Complaint until we confirm they did come out. Roy
After getting the Sheriff's Dept. involved, Alex Avery from New Ara Home Improvement did refund our money. He certainly is not a person I would advise anyone to have any dealings with and I feel he was dishonest and rude.
