I ordered a 25 x 16 x 3.5 inch washable furnace filter. I received a confirmation that I ordered that size. The filter that came is 24.5 x 17 x 3.5. It is an inch too large to fit my furnace. I asked to exchange it and was told that they had sent the correct filter, and that the nominal size was 16, but the actual size was 17. My currently installed filter says nominal size is 16, but actual size is 15 3/4. I even sent pictures of my furnace and installed filter, but the seller refuses to take responsibility for sending me the wrong size. I understand that this can be confusing, with "actual" size vs "Nominal Size," but the differences are 1/16-1/2 inch, and smaller, not a full inch larger. I ordered a 16" filter, they acknowledged that and informed me that they were sending me a 16" filter, but they sent me a 17" filter. I already have the hassle of having to find time to package up and return the incorrect filter, and they are forcing me to pay the return shipping as well. This is terrible customer service, and consumers should be warned against ordering from such a business.
