In response to your inquiry in reference to Jessica Kennedy please note the following.
The patient had willingly made an appointment and was seen on 11/24/14 for a follow up visit. At the conclusion of that visit a Video EEG was ordered to evaluate her problem and help with diagnosis...

andtreatment. A complete office note is available and can be furnished once the HIPPA regulations have been met. The fee of 87.86 for that visit after insurance adjustment became her responsibility.She was scheduled on 1/2/15 to complete a Video EEG. This test is done by a technician who comes in part time. Unfortunately the technician could not come in on the day of her scheduled appointment. She came to office and found the technician had called to cancel that morning. We apologized to the patient and offered to reschedule the appointment but she insisted on a refund for missed work. We explained to the patient that the technician cancelling was unforeseen. Needless to say she was very unhappy, used foul language towards us and left the Office.
I received an email from a health care advocate regarding same complaint. My response was as above to that agency as well.
