Review: 1. 4 gas leaks after Neumann plumbers were working on the job. Fire department shut down the job site until gas could be shut off and leaks identified.
2. Shower surround was cracked at install. The surround was inspected by the general contractor before the plumbers installed it and was found defect free. After install, it was cracked. Owner of Neumann plumbing visited the job site and said, "You can't prove it was my guys that cracked it". New surround had to be purchased at my expense to replace the cracked unit.
3. Neumann plumber was caught loading the hot water heater into his truck. This hot water heater was removed to be replaced with a power vent heater. The one that was removed was newer and still in operable condition. This plumber admitted he was planning on having his wife sell it on [redacted].Desired Settlement: I think at least the shower surround should have been covered by Neumann Plumbing. The cost of the surround piece that was damaged was $138.

Response:
I recently issued a complaint against Neumann Plumbing and Heating.
[redacted] the owner called me this morning. When I returned his
call, he tried to refute each of the complaints I made. I told him I
was not going to go down the several points and argue with him. I know
what happened at my job site, and all I wanted was a check for the
cracked shower surround ($138). He hung up on me.
This man is
rude and unprofessional. Rather than taking responsibility for the
problems, he negated each of the issues I complained about.
At this point, I want no contact with this person or his business.
I thought I had better let you know what transpired.
Thank you for your time.

Response:
Issue #1 - Gas Leaks:
According to our employees, the gas leak (4) that [redacted] is concerned
about had nothing to do with anything our employees installed.
Issue #2 - We removed the water heater out of the basement per the
request of the general contractor and put it in the garage and not on
our vehicle.
Issue #3 - Shower enclosure was not damaged by our employees of which
the general contractor picked up a new one and Neumann installed free of
charge.
Issue #4 - Shower door installation - homeowner provided her own
fixtures so we did not supplied any fixtures.
Issue #5 - Neumann did not cause any flooding, it was ground water.
She asked for our advise on the issue and that is where it stopped -
this did not cost her anything - we did not do any repairs.
Any questions on the above description please call [redacted]
Thanks,

Review: I was sold a heating unit and it was installed, that does not match the type of electrical voltage supplied to the building. [redacted], (their guy in charge of heating) admitted that he made a mistake but says it has been to long for them to correct the problem. and his solution is to offer another heater at my cost.Desired Settlement: Would like to pay difference in price for units and have them install correct voltage unit.

Response:
Thank you for the opportunity to give an explanation. I met with Mr.[redacted] on January 27, 2012 to discuss and look at what he needed done. I wrote up a detailed estimate, listing the size and voltage of
the heater in question, based on my job notes from our January meeting. We emailed the estimate to [redacted] on February 8, 2012. We received a signed estimate and the required ½ down on November 29, 2012. The custom
built 14'' round, 25KW, 208/3 ph duct heater was ordered and installed on December 17, 2012. Sometime during the week of when I was gone on vacation, [redacted] called our company and informed us of the voltage problem with
the duct heater. After playing phone tag for awhile with [redacted], we spoke over the phone on the morning of February 25, 2014. We had a discussion about the situation, and he questioned our professionalism.
I explained to [redacted] that wiring was his responsibility, as noted on my estimate 14 months elapsed between our installation and his electrician attempting to wire it...the heater is now over a year old, it cannot be returned.
