Review: Misleading advertising: I watched a video online for this wrinkle cream and it then stated it was Free, all I had to do was pay for shipping and handling. I've done this in the past with other products and and there were no hidden fees or scams. But, with this company ([redacted] )
I ordered the product, then received it soon after, with an invoice that states $0.00 dollars due , and states this is not a bill. It also shows the $4.95, that I payed for the shipping and handling. Nowhere does it say I owe any money, then a few weeks later. .. Bam, a charge for $89.76 on my credit card statement. Confused, I call the company and speak with a costumer service rep, named Larissa. This woman , Larissa explains that somewhere in the process of me giving them my credit card number they have the right to bill me for this product because they don't offer free products they offer free trials, I explained the add I read and the video I watched did not state I had to pay to "try" a product out, in fact it stated free bottle of wrinkle cream, just pay for shipping. I requested a refund of my $89.76 and offered to send back the product, she refused to refund my money stating that there is a 14 day refund period and would not be able to refund my money. After talking with her and explaining how upset I was she offered 25%back, I disagreed and stated I should receive all my money back and that this company is misleading with the way they advertise after a few minutes she offered 50% back, but I still feel paying $48.88 dollars for some wrinkle cream that represented itself to be Free is to much. So, here I am at the Revdex.com, asking for help. I believe I was mislead into ordering this product and would like a refund for the entire amount taken out of my account. I would also like for this company to start representing itself honestly, if you want me to order and pay full price for the product, just say so. Don't lie and hide it. If the product is good than people will buy it and be happy with it, instead of asking for their money back, that you never had permission to take. Please help.Desired Settlement: Refund and an apology
Also for the company to change the way they advertise
