Review: I hired this company in March of 2011 to take care of my payroll and report and pay my taxes. He failed to do so on time and incurred penalties which I sent to him and he told me he would take care of I have repeated letters and emails from him and the Irs about this matter I finally canceled with him and got a new payroll company but he is still respomsable for the penaties. Now yesterday I recieved May 2 a certified letter from the IRS to close my business because of past penalies . I now feel this company is not a very professional one and should be looked intoDesired Settlement: I want my money back for the penalies and for the job he did not do as well as the anguish I have suffered ..I am a single mothe and have a small business and do not have the money to fight him

Thank you for taking my telephone call this afternoon. Keeping in mind that we are still bound by confidentiality with respect to our former client, we can respond in general terms as follows:

NEPA Payroll Services offers a Tax Accuracy Guarantee to insure that its clients' taxes are paid accurately and on time. NEPA depends on its employer customers to give us accurate information with regard to remittance frequencies and prompt notification of any notices from tax authorities. Failure to do so limits our ability to accurately handle the account.

While we cannot disclose specifics regarding this client's account, we can state that no client of ours has had to pay penalties that were not covered in full under the Tax Accuracy Guarantee.

Again, without discussing specifics, we can state as a general proposition that the IRS does not communicate with taxpayers via e-mail, nor do they send certified letters threatening business closure.

NEPA Payroll Services has been in business for over 10 years with no similar complaints. It is my hope that this complaint will be handled appropriately.
