I made a payment on Nov 26th, 2019 for the due amount by calling Neonatal Resources of Wisconsin billing customer service at *** and also noted down the payment confirmation number (I can see this payment on my credit card statement too), but on Jan 20th, 2020 I have received a mail from collection agency saying I haven't made the payment and requesting the payment in next 30 days. I tried reaching out to customer service to resolve this on Jan 21st, 2020, they were not able to find the payment I have made even after providing the payment confirmation number, amount paid and the date the payment has been processed. Called customer service 3 times (Feb 7th, 2020, Feb 17th, 2020, Feb 18th, 2020) after that (total 4 times after receiving a mail from collection agency) and every time they say that they have sent my case for billing review and asked me to wait to hear back from them via call back from billing department in a week or so. I have never received a call back nor able to hold the proceedings from collection agency until this is all figured out. I'm tired of call them and waiting to hear back, so thought of logging a complaint to resolve this issue asap.
This was our mistake. I sent this over to *** which is our billing company and they found her payment and resolved this.
Morning, I asked for this account to be reviewed asking for the root issue to know how this could have been avoided. Issue originated with the customer service representative not identifying a payment made that was posted to the oldest date of service on the patients account. Had they identified and explained that I feel the patient would have understood and it wouldn’t have gotten to a complaint level. *** spoke with the parents yesterday and went through all charges, payments and when the statements were sent. They are in agreement they owe the $202.36 and will make a payment. *** also called the collection agency and had the account removed. Samip since I have been back I have gotten more and more involved in customer service. I would like to talk through some of the things being worked on when we meet next week. Thank you, Client Services Director
