Nelson & Skidmore

I have never recieved payment for a focus group I attended , in which was cancelled and I was promised payment .
On November 14th I was contacted by Steven Nelson via email regarding a 2 hour focus group on november 14th for small business owners in the amount of 350$ .
After confirming my attendance and going through a phone screener I was giving an address I was to report to in 1 basking ridge way at the verizon center . At 1pm
I cancelled work and my prior appointments to attend this meeting as they told me I would be paid 350$ .
When I arrived , I recieved a call from steve nelson saying that group was changed but I would be paid for me time for attending and going out of my way
I was told I would be paid via check and I gave my address. I contacted him about 2 weeks later and told me the payment would be late
I then contacted him on dec 1st and he said he would send it out that day .
I contact him again on dec 13th and 15th and has never responded back to me .
The contract as been broken on there end and I have not been paid for my time
