Neibauer Dental Care

Review: Last year I had some dental work done at Neibauer. In addition to personal funds, I took about $3,600 loan to cover the portion of charges my insurance was not going to cover. When it was all over with, I paid Neibauer a total of $4,118.50 and my insurance paid a total of $4,036 for the dental work. My records of the dental work; Neibauer’s Insurance contracted charges for each treatment I received, payments from my insurance, and me show a balance of $82.50 on my account. However, Neibauer sent a one line statement of outstanding balance of $693.50. Puzzled by this mysterious balance, I requested an itemized statement that would include each treatment I received and the contracted charge, the amount my insurance paid for each treatment, discounts that were applied, and payments I made. I have made several requests for an itemized statement in person, emails, and phone calls to Neibauer and even the parent company ([redacted] Dental) but neither of them has provided me with the detailed statement. Meanwhile, Neibauer continues to harass me every month with the same one line statement that say, outstanding balance - $693.50 – please pay immediately. This has been going on for almost a year. I cannot and will not pay a balance that appears to be dubious and Neibauer has not been able to validate this balance with details of actual events.Desired Settlement: I need them to either provide me with an itemized statement traceable to actual events, or write off and stop all collection efforts on this questionable balance immediately.
