We received the above referenced complaint from the consumer in [redacted] However, we have never sold any products to the referenced consumerOgura is a component part manufacturerOur products are clutches and brakes and these products go into original equipment manufacturer’s machinesIt is up to the machinery manufacturer to confirm whether or not the clutch or brake is suited for a particular application and/or a particular piece of machineryOgura is the largest manufacturer in the world of electromagnetic clutches and brakes producing approximately million units per yearProduction lines are highly automated and all coils go through multiple quality checks on the assembly line giving us a consistent zero ppm at many of our OEM’sSince a clutch failure can have many causes outside of a defect in manufacturing, we list troubleshooting sections on our website including installation videos on things to check to help consumersHowever, since almost all of our product is sold directly to original equipment manufacturers, it is up to that machinery manufacturer to work with their customer to diagnose and solve potential problemsWe cannot comment why one machinery manufacturer may have an issue where another one does not [redacted] should deal with the location where he purchased the clutch or directly with the machinery manufacturer to resolve this issue
