treatment was for injuries she sustained in an auto accident. Attached are her medical records including the signed lien accepting financial responsibility for treatment. She claims the insurance carrier for the person liable in the accident was supposed to pay her bills. However third party insurance carriers do not pay providers like us directly. We recently contacted the adjuster in her case who revealed that the case is closed and that Ms. [redacted] was personally compensated for her medical bills provided by us. Regards,
[redacted] First, When I asked this person, I gave him all the papers from previous doctors and he stated that it was standard procedure for his doctor to check me; therefor it was going to be a very brief talk. Which it was, less than five minutes just to confirm my age, weight, etc. Second, he assured me that all I had to do was to get a lawyer or get the insurance papers to the billing department and that they would take care of the rest. I gave the the information to the billing department, or the woman in charge of this. When I talked to the insurance adjuster she did not mentioned that the money was to pay doctors fees, or that the business was going to send me a bill many months later. If in fact they were going to charge, why did they waited so long to do so?Third, the only signature I gave them was when I signed in.  I do not know if they used that signature for other purposes.  I do accept that the stretching machine, the hot towels, and the electric stimulation charges are correct, but none of the other things they are charging for. First they claim I never gave them the insurance information, but now in their response they have all the information.  What else are they lying about?  Is in admissible that a person clams to be a professional just to use his credentials to for extortion.

Review: This company is charging me for treatments they did not perform. I have tried to talk to them, but they do not care. I had an automobile accident, so the other car owner's insurance told me they would cover any treatment I needed. I went to this facility and handed all the information needed for them to bill the insurance. Months later they send me a statement claiming that I received treatments I did not. I called them and told them that I did not received those treatments, therefor the charges needed to be taken away. The secretary told me that because they did not had the insurance company information I had to pay my self, and that it did not matter what I got I had to pay because that was their policy.Desired Settlement: They are charging me $1,315.00, but the treatments I received cost the total of $260.00. Since they lost the information I provided, I shouldn't be accountable for anything. But I'm willing to make payments for the actual treatments I had.
