Review: The complaint involves Scientific American, which is published by Nature Publishing Group On December *,2014 my friend purchased for me a Scientific American Digital Subscription Legacy for $99 paid by a [redacted] credit card. The subscription was initiated with the account number o[redacted], but by some mistake the subscription expired in one month having erroneously been listed as being ordered on February *, 2014. Consequently I communicated with Scientific American Digital via E-mail, and initially I was told that the subscription had expired, but I sent them a copy of the [redacted] statement clearly showing the purchase date. Then they changed their resistance by stating that they had no record of payment, and I should get a refund from the credit card company! This reply is obviously nonsense because how else could the subscription have been generated if Scientific American received no payment. I am disappointed that a prestigious journal such as Scientific American employs such unsuitable and unhelpful people in the subscription office.Desired Settlement: I desire that the digital subscription to Scientific American Legacy be restored.
