Review: This shop took a job to fix our car. First they gave us a highly inflated rates for cost of parts. We decided to shop around and purchase the parts ourselves at lower rates. We dropped the parts for them. The promised they would start work on the same day but weren't sure if they could finish it. It might be the Monday the following will. They asked us to check by 4:00pm to see how far they had gone. We called at 4:45 instead, 15 minutes to their closing time. The mechanic called [redacted], who picked up the phone, was apparently already angry about something else when we asked him how far they had gone on the car. He angrily responded, "The parts you give was wrong. It didn't fit." When we asked him why he didn't call us to tell so we could go get the right part, he lost his temper, told us they were too busy to worry about or car, we should come pick up our car if we want and then he hung up the phone! We drove over to find out what was going on. As soon as we walked, the mechanic rushed in with our car key in his hand saying, "Here, can take you car and leave!" Without giving us the parts we had handed him. When we asked to speak to the owner, the owner sent the [redacted] person back to tell us he was too busy to speak to us unless we were willing to wait for 30 mins. By then it was 5 minutes to their closing time, so we left without our car, our parts, and no status on the repair.Desired Settlement: Owner should perform service as committed and apologize to us for his mechanic's rudeness.
