We feel we have taken a reasonable approach to this complaint, we have offered *** *** a full refund upon return of the engine we have already sent him, we have offered to book the return shipping, and it has been rejectedWe simply cannot issue a refund for a product still in the possession of *** ***, we do not feel it to be unreasonable to request return of the complete engine we sentWe are confident this is a 100% running engine as it has been tested as all of our engines before being shipped to *** ***, there is no evidence of any damage to the Head, Block or Crank of this engine, and no measurable amounts of water were found in the engine, the pictures show shelf oxidation which happens to any engine that is completely drained of all oils while in the warehouseWe have offered a complete refund upon the return of this engine, we simply cannot allow a customer to keep an engine and also receive a full refund, we feel this is a standard business practice and we would like to resolve this matter as soon as possible

We respectfully reject *** *** claim in this matterThe fact is, our company sold and delivered the exact engine which was purchased as stated on the invoice and shown in the pictures delivered to *** ***We do not, nor have ever claimed exact fitments of any part as we cannot view every applicationWe also, have never taken a vin number to do a fitment check as we are not an *** dealerOur warranty information is delivered with every product purchased, it also is clearly listed on our website that this is available by request prior to purchaseWe explained the warranty policy to *** *** prior to purchase that this was a day head, block and crank warrantyThis same warranty has applied to the thousands of engines we have sold each yearThe warranty information, along with the return policy, is clearly displayed on the outside of the shrink wrap of each engineThis could have been reviewed by *** *** prior to taking delivery of the engine, unfortunately he did not do soOur warranty specifically excludes turbochargers and any accessoriesOur warranty also specifically excludes any labor charges, downtime, freight charges, fluids, gaskets, or loss of use*** ***, notified us of differences in the engine after he received this engine at the YRC terminal, we informed him he could return the engine at that time*** *** declined returning the engine, and also returned his core engine to us, we in turn returned his core depositWe have tried to resolve this minor turbocharger issue, going above and beyond our responsibility under the warranty policy, the customer refused to return the damaged turbocharger to usAt this point we can only speculate that the customer for some reason no longer needs this vehicle or has another issue with this truck, as nothing has been stated as to anything actually wrong with the engineThis customer could have easily rejected the engine, returned to us, or even returned this engine within the day return periodWe have satisfied our obligations in delivering the exact engine this customer ordered and we reject any claims to the contraryThere is nothing more we can do at this time as we have exhausted every option availableWe respectfully reject the opinion of *** *** in this case and as he has unsuccessfully attempted to commit fraud in this case by having funds returned to him while keeping a product we delivered, any further correspondence should be addressed to our legal team

On 10/31/we were contacted by *** *** *** *** *** about used *** engineWe were contacted by a Anthony of the company in which we sent multiple detailed photographs of the exact engine he would be purchasingWe informed him this would be the exact engine he would be receiving,
to confirm the model and photos with his mechanicOn 10/31/2017, after receiving the pictures of the engine and contacting his mechanic, Anthony put a deposit via credit card on the engineThe balance was paid days later, and we promptly shipped the exact engine which he ordered and had prior photographs of to the local terminal where he picked this upOn 11/15/we were contacted by Anthony who said we have sent him the wrong engine, we then checked the engine against all photographs and also consulted with his mechanic and it was discovered this was the exact engine he ordered but he had some minor accessories that were different on his old engineThe mechanic agreed the engine would work, we informed him he could return the engine but would be responsible for freight charges as we did ship the exact engine he was given explicit photographs ofHe decided to keep the engine and make some adjustments.As to the warranty claim for a faulty turbocharger, our warranty policy which is delivered in writing with every engine or product shipped, and is also available by request and on our website, explicitly excludes turbochargers, injectors, and all bolt on accessoriesWe warranty the actual engine, head,block and crank during the warranty periodOur policy is the standard in the used engine and truck parts industryWe agreed to go above and beyond our warranty policy and ship the used turbocharger for the engine as soon as we received the claimed faulty turbocharger in exchangeTo this date we have not received a faulty turbocharger, the purchaser has returned and been refunded for his core charge, and we have no open claim with this engineOur warranty is a parts only warranty, in which we cover the head, block and crank major components during the period and agree to replace those parts if they failThe customer has not had a covered part fail, and we simply cannot give customers free enginesAnthony has repeatedly harassed employees of our company, and while we have sold thousands of engines to satisfied customers we always try to help each customer the best we canWe still agree if, the faulty turbocharger was returned to us during the warranty period we would replace it with the original used turbocharger

On 3/24/we were contacted by *** Towing LLC about a used *** *** 8YL Engine, we informed him we had this *** engine in stock, and the total price including shipping to zip code *** would be $3641.00, we sent an invoice dated March 24, to *** Towing LLCOn 3/27/we sent a
picture of the exact *** *** ** engine which he would be receiving, at this time *** Towing LLC representative *** *** asked to receive a 210HP engine, which we instructed would be $more if we had oneOn, 3/29/ *** *** paid us $4141.00, which was $more than the invoiced amount, we then spoke via telephone on 3/29/and advised him we did not have a *** or *** and he sent $more than the invoiced amount which would be refunded On 3/31/we set up the freight for the *** engine to be delivered to *** *** Repair in Edmond, OK*** Freight delivered the engine to *** *** Repair on 4/7/with signatureOn 4/10/we received a call and email from *** *** stating there was some water in the engine, we advised him to send pictures of the water in the engine and we would take care of the situationOn 4/10/*** sent pictures of the engine, showing the exact same engine we sent him pictures of on 3/27/17, showing a picture of the turbo and valve coverWe advised him this was 100% a good running engine, but we would take this engine back and send a replacement at no chargeOn 4/11/we received an email from *** asking for a full refund, which we have agreed to submit once we receive the engine returnWe have sent follow up emails asking the engine to be returned so we can process the full refund, we have never stated he would only receive 80% refundOur restocking fee is 20% when an engine is returned for a non-warranty claimThis policy is clearly posted on our website, at our lo***ion, and is posted to every shipment along with the warranty form and Bill of LadingWe have agreed to provide a full refund of the purchase price of this engine upon receiving it returned from *** ***We cannot submit a refund, along with allowing *** *** to keep the engineIt is standard business practices for any retailer I have ever encountered to require a return of merchandise before a refund can be issued, I do not believe we are being unreasonable in requesting the tested and running *** *** engine to be returned to us prior to issuing a refund

We have received the core engine back from the dealership as of 12/26/2017, and have called the purchaser in order to process the core refund check.
