To all concerned -
In the customer's last statement, he says, "Yes, we did sign the modification from our mortgage company" and even further acknowledged that Nationwide did send the packet on his behalf, although stating that it was "months into the process"That being said, by his own admission, he DID get a loan modification as a result of Nationwide's efforts, regardless of then he speculates the packet was sent in to the lenderThe fact that we got him approved for a loan modification, which he accepted, deems our contract complete.
The definition of a loan modification is as follows: "A loan modification is a permanent restructuring of the mortgage where one or more of the terms of a borrower's loan are changed to provide a more affordable paymentWith a loan modification, the lender may agree to do one of more of the following to reduce the monthly payment: 1. reduce the interest rate; 2. convert from a variable interest rate to a fixed interest rate; or 3. extend of the length of the term of the loan." A loan modification has nothing to do with insurance or taxes as those are governed by different entities and are not permanent.
He further stated that the process took longer than expected to be completedWe have no control over how long the process takesHe was advised, as is any person we may speak to, that the process could take 60-days, sometimes longer, sometimes shorterThere is nothing in writing guaranteeing a specific completion date, because nobody knows that, not even the lenderThe fact remains that he got a modification and the loan was modified to become 100% current, and his home was saved from foreclosure. It is unfortunate that the client does not "like" his modification, but unfortunately, it is not up to him or any other homeowner to dictate the terms of any loan modification, just as it is not up to us It is ultimately up to the investor and as described in my previous rebuttal, he received the best case scenario for his situation, especially because it is his 2nd loan modification within a month period

Ms [redacted] is still in review with her mortgage company; there is nothing we can do to limit them from asking her for updated documents. She is still in active review and nothing needed at this time. Unfortunately, we cannot control how fast the servicer works.

His case took approx. 5 months, which is typical in this industry as we cannot control how fast the lender works. Customer received the best possible modification for the type of loan he has and saved over $17,847.63 in back payments, and also had all of his late fees waived. Customer also states that the payment did not go down: The payment went down from $1953.00 per month to $1853.83 per month, which is a monthly savings of $99.15 on top of the amount he saved on his back payments. This is also his 2nd modification in 1 year (he received another one in 2014), which is another reason why the payment was not able to go down further, according to his lender. As to his statement stating that we guaranteed something in writing: We would never guarantee anything - we do not have the power to make any guarantee(s).

They do a great job. Revdex.com charges a fee to get a good rating, and Nationwide didn't want to pay it. Look for real reviews on other websites. They saved my house when NO ONE ELSE COULD or would. Shame on you Revdex.com.

Review: On 9/24/15, I retained the services of Nationwide Retention Center to assist with getting a loan modification on my mortgage. I was told that the process would take approximately 3 months. I was to pay $1000 per month for 3 months (total $3000). I received generic emails approximately every 2 weeks - each one reporting that my loan modification request was 'under review, we appreciate your patience". After 5 months, nothing has been done and every time I ask for the status, I get the same generic email that "the process is under review".

I feel like I paid my limited money for a SCAM.Desired Settlement: Refund of the $3,000 that I have already paid Nationwide Retention Center.

My dispute has been resolved. Regards,

Review: On or about 5/12/15, we retained the services of Nationwide retention to assist with getting a loan modification on our home - they led us to believe that they could get our mortgage reduced to around $1200 per month . We were told that the process would take approximately 3 months. We were to pay $1400 per month for 3 months (total $4200). During the 3 months, we were told that we would be apprised of the situation with our home. We received generic emails approximately every 2 weeks - each one reporting that our loan modification request was 'under review'. In September, 2015 we received a notice that our mortgage company would begin foreclosure proceedings on November 6, 2015. I immediately notified Nationwide Retention. On 9/23 we received notification from Nationwide that they needed copies of pay stubs - that we immediately sent to them. On November 13, we received a letter from our lender that they were changing our mortgage payment - Principle and Interest had INCREASED, but insurance, which I obtained on my own had gone down.

This was not what Nationwide promised us. When I spoke with our lender, they notified me that they had NOT RECEIVED a completed packet (though we had submitted EVERYTHING requested to Nationwide) until September 22, 2015. This was 4 months into this process - and NOT WHAT Nationwide promised.Desired Settlement: Nationwide DID NOT hold up their end of the contract. They said that the process would take 3 months and it took 6 months. They did NOT submit the packet to the lender when they were supposed to but waited 3 months. They GUARANTEED (I have that in writing) that they WOULD get us a reduction in payment - the only reduction was for what I did on my own.
