contract. If the unit is returned prior to the month being over the amount is adjusted to the lowest rate (based on daily, weekly & monthly calculation) and the monthly statement shows accordingly. As I'm sure Mr. [redacted] can understand the contract and its binding nature of both parties is critical to the performance of our business. At Sunbelt rentals we offer many options for our customer to access their account and billing information (online, cell phone applications). I apologize for the agent that Mr. [redacted] contacted not accurately describing the return date on the contract for the planer that Mr. [redacted] (but cannot take fault on his employee not turning in the contract). At times the pace at the store can be very fast and being able to look up and breakdown contract billings for customers over the phone can be difficult. We often recommend that customers use the online access, refer to the original contract for the details of their agreement and if there are continued questions as to the billing/contract issues we refer them to their sales representative that manages their account. I took the call from Mr. [redacted] when he had called to question the invoice and during my investigating the issue with him he could not offer any details as to who he had talked to or any other pertinent details other than if he had known when it was due back he would have had it back. Upon stating that he had entered into a contract and it would be very hard for me to justify his complaints without any details Mr. [redacted] decided to hang up on me. In an offer of good faith I have credited for the additional day of rental on the unit. We at Sunbelt appreciate their business and hope that we can maintain a relationship going forward.
