I am writing this Review so that other RV enthusiasts will not fall victim to what I experienced with National Truck E.R.S. and their service provider, Red's OK Auto and Truck Repair.
I was grossly overcharged for their services. I received their company from a google search and called them. I believe I was told that it would cost $100 for them to be dispatch to my site, $52.50 for mileage and the rate would be $110 per hour. The service mechanic did a great job of fixing my problem in about 15 minutes, spent another 10 minutes calling in his report to National ERS, National then called me with the charges which were (wait for it) $630?? They claimed that they told me that the service charge is from, "Portal to Portal" which I did not understand. If I had I, like 100% of Recreational RVers, would certainly not agreed to pay anyone 4 hours labor. The service rep to repair, call in and wait for payment spent just 1 hours at my site. The labor charge was $440. I was traumatized to say the least, I was very upset and used language that I regret. After all this service call completely ruined my vacation.
I tried with no success to resolve this issue with the President of the Company, Chuck [redacted] Their position was "you were told that it was portal to portal, period. Bull S....
Please be warned in this review of the practices of National Truck ERS, I will also be writing letters to the editors of my RV Publications to further warn my fellow RV enthusiasts.
