Review: I have been repaying two student loans since I finished graduate school in 2009. I am having two ongoing issues with NSLDS that they have been unable to resolve with me over the phone. I have called them about 25 times during the last two years to try to resolve these issues. 1. I am unable to log in to my account on the NSLDS website because of an incorrect name on one of my student loans. I have a PIN with NSLDS that is supposed to allow me to log in and see my account. The PIN is under my correct legal name - [redacted]. One of my loans is with a provider called ACS, and NSLDS has this loan mistakenly under the name [redacted]. NSLDS says that because of this mistake, I cannot log in to my account. They say I must have the loan servicer (ACS) correct my name, and there is nothing that NSLDS can do to let me log in to my account on their website. I have spoken with [redacted] many times over the last two years. They have my correct name on my account in their database, and they have submitted a name correction to NSLDS several times. When I check with NSLDS, they say nothing has been reported and there is no way they can change the name themselves. I have spoken with supervisors several times and no one has been able to help. 2. My other student loan is with a loan servicer called [redacted]. NSLDS cannot see my [redacted] loan, apparently because it is under my correct name - [redacted]. The reason this is important is because both of my loan servicers need to see the information on both of my loans in order to correctly calculate the monthly payments I can afford. Currently my two loan servicers cannot see my account with the other one on the NSLDS, so they are both expecting me to pay a large monthly payment.NSLDS says [redacted] is not reporting any information to them about my loan. I have talked to [redacted] many times over the last two years, and they have assured me each time that they have been reporting my loan information to NSLD.Desired Settlement: I would like someone at NSLDS to do whatever needs to be done for both of my student loans to be listed in my account under my correct name, and for me to be able to log in to their website to see my account. There has to be someone there who can call [redacted] and [redacted] and figure out what the problem is. I have an account on the NSLDS website, and it is their responsibility to make sure that I can log in to my account with them. Not the responsibility of other companies.
