Review: medicare and myself paid for a power wheelchair, received wrong chair and cannot get assistance on returning the item.

09/11 my Kaiser Dr. ordered me a power wheelchair. finally after much stress and no call backs, on 07/25/13 the chair was delivered. The chair was paid for by my medicare and my private monies. National Seating delivered the wrong chair. I was at a dental appointment at time of delivery. Well, lo and behold, it was not the chair I chose. I cannot get nsm to mail or email me a complete invoice. I do know that medicare/medical paid almost $6000 and I paid $955.24 out of pocket. first sells rep I had that took my order was: [redacted].

He ordered a blue and grey chair with upgraded seats and a basket to hold my backpack oxygen. the one they delivered had an oxygen bottle. I do not use oxygen. the last rep name was [redacted]. I never even saw him to place an order. The receptionist "[redacted]" knows that I was to get a seat up grade because she called me to ask the reason I got by all these years with a sling seat and now want an upgraded power chair seat. I haven't had a seat to sit in for three years since

power surge damaged my new power wheelchair on 09/28/10Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund so I can purchase the chair I want at very lower rate. same supplier they use at Allgre.com Pride Jazzy 6. I will settle for national seating to replace this chair with the right chair and equipment I thought I was paying for. The one that "[redacted]" who no longer works there sat right here in my home and ordered for me.

While our client did initially have issues with some of the features of her chair, all of those issues have been addressed. A conversation with our client today confirmed that the complaint has been resolved to her satisfaction.
