The public should be fully aware of this real time experience with National Power sports (Nationalpowersports.net)
I went around and around with these clowns for days, and started my research way before thatI was ready to pay-in-full and have the motorcycle delivered at the day point but absolutely could not get direct answers to basic questions
Asking BASIC questions about a specific motorcycle I had a deposit on, getting a email response was about impossible and they were doing you a favor to put their responses in writing I got maybe two responses in emailsEach time with a different answer or as if nothing was ask in the first place They use a single email address for any issue or deptWhat a joke
The owner of NPS Nathan hired a 'CEO' as general sales manager, and is a stereotypical 'used car salesman' that uses innuendo, talk around non direct answers, and will BS you with something different every time you have to talk to himHis name is Barry
The NADA and Kelly Blue Book values on specific make, model, and/or VIN I.Dalready factor in most of the reason to base a value NPS asking price is 2-times that, and was on the specificyear old bike I wanted When I ask for a reason or justification numerous times, especially in writing, it always was cheap talk-around old school non-answers, and Barry the CEO played the insulted "I never had that ask in my entire career' salesman victim routineWhen finally getting a email response on this price issue, it was "NADA values are thrown out the door.."
In days worth of emails and phone calls I could NEVER get direct, verifiable answers to questions like:
- How did the test drive go above MPH? The salesmen or anyone else would never take it for a test drive after their basic service before sale
- How old is the chain and how did it perform on the test drive?
- Except for some old after-market pipes and grips, the bike is stock (color, paint, carb, transmission, etc etc), How do you justify your firm pricetag that is two to three times the Blue Book value (especially on a year old motorcycle)?
- Was the transmission flushed and the filter changed if needed?
- Was the antifreeze and radiator flushed?
- What spark plug did you replace it with?
The list of basic questions the consumer asks when buying any vehicle you try and get a verifiable answer on goes on and on
I have talked to the owner, Nathan, several times before over the years on getting the bike I wanted and needed and a fair priceIt is now impossible to get a hold of him directly and you are stuck with the cheap BSing CEO Barry, if you can get a response from him, or the kid age regular salesmen
Payment terms are strangeCC or Paypal for the small $deposit Must have numerous Money orders ($limit on Money orders, each) bank transfers at huge transaction costs, or 'Certified Bank Check' Good luck to anyone who likes to deal in cash and does not have a fee charging bank account
There is no consideration what-so-ever, especially in these days and times, for Military or Veterans, even disabled
They are located in New Hampshire, and a majority of their 'business' is in shipping nationwide CONUS Their 'flat fee' shipping is heavily marketed as a deal vs buying from a private owner who will ask a lot smaller shipping fee, if any Check NPS competitors like private sellers thru *** ***
20+ phone calls, very few email responses, cheap salesmen tactics, having to start from scratch every phone call, days worth of buying hassles, going around and around with basic communication and service/maintenance questions Enough First times shame of them31st time shame on me or any consumer I cancelled my deposit Buy locally and in-person
You'll notice NPS is not Revdex.com accredited You wonder why
