Review: NLRCC called us regarding our home mortgage being in foreclosure and told us they could help by finding us a mortgage as low as 2%. The also told us based on our current mortgage payment they could get us lowered to as low as $621.00 per month less taxes and home owners insurance. We told them we were unhappy with the current mortgage company and were looking to have another company provide us a mortgage. They said they would find a mortgage company and negotiate a rate and get back to us. So, We agreed and they immediately requested us to sign a payment plan for instant payment from our checking account on a monthly basis for $835 three times (Oct - Dec 2014) and the final payment of $790 (Jan. 2015) ($3,295). During this time, they changed our representative and we were contacted once or twice. I believe they stalled in order to receive their payments. I had to reach out to the company on several occasions to find out the status of our loan. We were working with our current mortgage company, [redacted]. on a remodification and NLRCC told us to ignore the information and do not talk to the mortgage company about them or the mortgage. NLRCC got back to us after 3 and a half months and told us they finally came to an agreement. Well the agreement was with the current mortgage company and the agreement was also with the [redacted] that [redacted] offered us prior to working with NLRCC. So where did NLRCC do any work except to rip us off for $3295. Also, After arguing and disputing this fact on the phone with the Account Executive. They tried to take a fee of $835 out of our account on January 7, 2015 after already receiving a payment on January 1, 2015 with the final payment to be February 1, 2015 of $790. No one authorized the payment on January 7, 2015. This left us with a zero checking account balance and fees for over draft.Desired Settlement: Due to the fact that NLRCC did not find us a different mortgage company nor did they negotiate a remodification, we feel that we are entitled to our money back. The money we paid them we could have settled our own remodification and our mortgage would be paid and up to date. All NLRCC did was use our remodification that they asked me to send to them from [redacted] and sat on it for 3-1/2 months until their payment was received and then told us to go with that offer.

Please help us. We don't have money to be thrown away to companies that misrepresent themselves. This company should not be allowed to interfere with the struggles of mortgage if they truly cannot help a consumer. Someone is making themselves rich on the cost of others who are struggling and this is very unfair to the consumer.

Client ServicesFrom: Client Services <[redacted]>Sent: Wednesday, February 18, 2015 3:34PMTo: '[redacted]'Subject: RE: National Loan Review, Inc. Mrs. [redacted],The facts are, that you were never misled. The second approval is completely different than the one you first obtainedon your own and we clarified that directly with your lender. Please review the contract for the exact details of theservice that was provided, it was much more than submitting a basic application "as you put it". A profit and lossfinancial worksheet was created, debt to income ratio's calculated and structured appropriately according to what youlenders guidelines were. Which is why when you received this second approval its was lower than what you were able toachieve on your own.Second, yes you are correct that you did verbally agree in late October 2014 that you wish to move forward with ourservices. A contract was then drafted on (day 3/ month of 11/ Year of 2014) hence the 3/11/2014, the date is writtenthis way for internal tracking purposes. However, according to the [redacted] software records it was sent out on the3rd and signed on the 11th. We can only assume that you took those 8 days to review in detail the contract. By that timephase one of the services were already completed, we moved forward based on your verbal permission back in lateOctober as you remember. Instead of charging the $1647.50 that was actually due according to our contract the firmagreed to break up the payment into further payments in order to accommodate your financial situation. We apologizeif you felt we were trying to insult you regarding the financial comment it was never our intention, we were just trying tohelp break up payments so that you wouldn't have to pay the full 1647.50 at once.Again to clarify, the charge of $3295 is for the document preparation services outlined in your contract, NOTRemodifying your home. The only entity than can offer you a modification is your lender not us. The negotiation and/orattempts to negotiate with your lender are provided FOR FREE by a third party of our choice also stated in youragreement.Furthermore in 14 bolt point lettering on page 14 of your contract it states that it is not necessary to obtain a third partyto assist you with the program. It also states that we guarantee NO specific result, we are solely a documentationpreparation firm. We make sure that the agreement is very clear so that NO ONE is misled. We know you folks are very good people we never questioned that, and we do wish to resolve this issue amicablyhowever it is not possible to work on a file for that many months, pay out a third party contractor out of our own budgetto negotiate with your lender and give you back a full refund. On top of everything although irrelevant you received anew modification other than the one you obtained on your own. We only have one option left Mrs. [redacted], National LoanReview, Inc. is willing to refund you the FULL NET profit of$495.00 as a final attempt to resolve the matter. The net profit after a !I expenses is our livelihood and even though weprovided the service and we can prove it, we are offering you this as a final attempt to at least somewhat satisfy you.

Review: I received a postcard from National Loan Review in regards to a loan modification November 2013. I contacted them and was told that I do in fact qualify. After initial discussions, decided not to use their services. I was then contacted by National Home Loan directly and was told that they could not only get my mortgage rate reduced, but they could also get the amount I owed on my home reduced. I have paid $3,395 for their services and was told this would take 90-120 days to complete. To date, I have been bounced around to numerous people and have done what has been asked of me with no results. I am a single mother and at this point, I need to be reimbursed the money that I have paid out to National Home Loan so I am able to get back on track with my mortgage company. Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to be fully reimbursed the $3395.00 that I have paid out to National Home Loan Review along with $740 for assessed late fees applied by my mortgage company.
