I am rejecting this response becauseSo you no longer work with him? Why did you say you weren't paid by me? You can write a check for the extra payment!  You are not truthful, you evidently will do anything not to be honorable. [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  I admit I had a dirty boat - not an exceptionally dirty boat, but a typical dirty boat that occurs when the boat is in the water for a season. There was no exceptional reason not to expect an experienced and skilled boat cleaner to be able to perform the job. My dirty boat had been previously successfully and satisfactorily cleaned at a "brick and mortar" shop. The companies website advertises that they offer a service that is better than a shop can. In my case, this was an absolute fabrication and misrepresentation of the lack of services that I received. They also have fabricated the interaction and discussions between the technician and myself. They state that the technician will discuss additional services needed for the job prior to doing the job, and that my technician was "surprised" at the condition of my boat. Well, the tech arrived at my house, promptly set up and began to clean my boat without any hint of such a discussion or any worries about the job. After he had washed his way around the boat with some spry on soap and a little slopping with a soft brush, he then worked on the lake deposit area with several different brushes without any progress. When I saw that he didn't know how to clean it, I went on line and promptly found multiple references on how to and the available products for cleaning the "sm line". There are at least 10 commercial products advertised and available, as well as other products that you can just get at the grocery store. At that time he said to me that there was "some kind" of a build up on the boat. He obviously didn't know how to professionally clean it - he didn't even know what it was, let alone have any of the products on hand that would easily clean it. His only option offered to me was to wet sand the boat and that would "take a long time and cost a lot extra". I told him I would go to the store and see if I couldn't get something to do the job. I got some of the items that I looked up and then was able to clean the sm off the boat with spraying the area and using a scotch brite pad to rub at it a little. He then turned his attention to cleaning the inside of the boat. The scuff marks on the boat were not addressed by him either and in fact, he buffed right over them on one side of the boat before I realized that he wasn't equipped to do anything about them either. I rushed to additionally clean that side of the boat with my product and got the scuffs right off and I asked him to rebuff the area and he did. I then further cleaned those areas on the other side of the boat before he buffed that side. So, I continue to maintain that he was not an adequately trained or equipped professional to clean the boat. The company admits in their original reply that the technician DID NOT clean the outside of my boat.I feel that the company should be responsible for reimbursing me for the work that their "recommended" professional did not perform, didn't know how to do, and didn't have any appropriate commercial product appropriate for the job.And now, I expect that they will hide behind their"Terms and Conditions" that are easily overlooked and completely anithetical to the quality and professionalism they profess in their advertising. Certainly in my case, and I am sure in others as well, I was sucked in by their website, when hidden away is their denial of any responsibility at all for the quality, or as in my case, the completion of the job wether satisfactory or not. I think that this is unethical behavior for ANY company to undertake. They take the money and ought to be ultimately responsible for unsatisfactorily completed outcomes.I also find it very interesting that they compare themselves to Angie's List and AAA - You don't pay Angie or AAA, and I'm sure that they'll be interested to know about those references. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

It was cleaned, it just wasnt to your liking. We offered to come back the next day, you said "no my husband did it". We tried for a week to come and fix any issues. We also state you should be present to inspect when finished, you declined. We still offered to come back and fix any issues, you declined. You got your money back after you disputed the charge so this claim is irrelevant anymore.
