Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am immigrant with limited skills in English with my native dialect of Taglog The dentist did not have any forms in Tagalog and knew I was unsure of what I was reading/signing and am taking advantage by holding my dental records hostage, because they know my new dentist will not see me without the dental records or I will have to pay twice for the new dentist to do the same things This is not the first dental practice I have used in limited time in the USA,but it is the first dental practice to hold my records hostage Charging me any money to attach a document to an email and then hit “send” is extortion at the very least Regards,

Thank you for contacting our office in regards to case ID #[redacted]. Our office strives to make every patient happy, however, that is not always the case. The patient in question was informed, and signed the office policies on her first new patient appointment on 8/25/15. We have enclosed a copy of...
the policies that the patient has signed. If she did not agree with our office policies at the time of her new patient introduction, she could have decided to seek treatment at another dentist office.I have also included a copy of the section from the American Dental Association "Patient Records" manual. As you will see it is the choice of the establishment to charge a "reasonable, cost -based fee for copying records".If you have any more questions in regards to this matter please feel free to contact me at my office at [redacted]
