Nashville Pet Emergency Clinic

This review is for our experience at the Nashville Pet Emergency Clinic located at North West Broad Street, Murfreesboro, TN On 1/29/we took our dog to this clinic around 8:p.m After paying $for the exam and x-ray the staff performed an x-ray and the veterinarian on duty read the x-ray and examined our dogShe informed us that our dog's stomach flipped and she would need surgery that nightWe asked her for a cost estimate, recovery, etcShe stated that it would cost around $and that we would have to put down a depositShe stepped out of the room and had another staff member come in who sat down beside me and showed me a cost estimate statement that showed a low estimate of $and a high estimate of $I asked her how much deposit was required and she said $You have to pay it all in advance and will be refunded if it were to be the lower amountI only had my debit card on me and had $2,availableI told her I could pay that and bring a credit card in the morning (we live about miles away) She suggested that we apply for a credit card that they offer After some thought, and distress, I called our dog's regular veterinarian office and was able to reach him at home I asked for his advice about the procedure and the costHe was not pleased with the estimate that the Nashville Pet Emergency Clinic providedHe told us to bring the dog to his clinic in Woodbury, Tennessee, and that he would get a staff together and perform the emergency surgery He performed the surgery and was done about 11:p.m No funds were exchanged at that timeWhen we went to his office in the a.mto see how our dog was doing and pay our debt, the cost was $
My problem with the Nashville Pet Emergency Clinic is their strong armed tactic to get highly distressed customers to pay their exorbitant fees Their concern, in this case, was obviously for cash flowI would not recommend this clinic or its affiliates to anyone
