on 12/26/2019 I went to NAPA auto parts at ***. to see if they could order brake shoes for my 1940 ford. Their website shows a part# and price but for unknown reasons I was unable to order on line I brought that screen printout to the store & asked if they were available or not. The salesman said sure I can order them but you will have to prepay for the parts & there will be shipping when parts arrive so I paid the invoice. He said they would call when parts arrive. Three weeks later I still had not received a call so I stopped in on 1/13/2020 to see what the status was. The manager checked the order only to tell me that the order had been canceled but could not explain why. She agreed to reorder. on 1/16/2020 I received a call that the parts were in but when I picked them up I saw that the parts were not what I originally ordered and not the right parts she continued to tell me that the parts that I wanted were in fact not available I then requested a refund and said I will order them some where else but she stated that I was still responsible for the shipping charges. I was shocked that I would have to pay anything after their screw up and became upset & refused to pay. Why should I be charged shipping when they ordered the wrong parts in the first place? I was very upset because there was no explanation about the initial cancellation of the original order. I was very upset that there was no acknowledgement of wrong doing on their part and to me it was poor customer service. The manager was not interested in offering anything even though I did not receive what I ordered. I took the parts because I had already paid for them but the manager was unwilling to do anything to make it right there was just an insistence for me to pay shipping charges for something that I could not use. I was so outraged I was using profanity and used words that I should not have I accept responsibility & understand that it was wrong on my part to do so.

Refund I have sent several emails to NAPA customer support & called twice incident# *** I have been a long time customer with NAPA & dealt this location countless times with no issues but have never been treated this way especially by a manager who refused to do the right thing by refunding all charges, including shipping. If this issue is not resolved and all monies refunded I will never be a customer in the future and will be sure to let others know how the management treats their customers
