Listed below are summaries of the grievances I had with the establishment
1)Omission of info. My biggest concern is my $50 deposit. On Jan. 17, I was never told by the manager (Leiona) that my deposit was nonrefundable or that is was going towards reserving the space for my party. I was not reserving a private room. I'm confused why it would have been $50 for tables pushed together in the open space of the restaurant.I cancelled my reservation 24hours in advance (Jan. 24). At the very least, that "reservation deposit" should have gone towards my food bill. I returned Jan. 26 (the day after the transaction) to ask why my deposit wasn't factored into the food bill. This is when Leiona suddenly mentioned it was a nonrefundable reservation deposit.
1)Dishonesty. The manager (Leiona) told me my pickup order would be ready at 5pm for Jan. 25. When I arrived, it appeared that my order wasn't even placed since the cashier said my name was not on a list for pickup. The cashier left to find Leiona and the cashier informed me that other parties caused my order to be pushed back to a 7pm pickup. Leiona also told us we would have to pay for the restaurant DJ. She then suddenly back tracked and told me the DJ was paid for when my party decided to move the location.
3) Overall bad customer service. Leiona didn't apologize for the inconvenience caused or offer to subtract anything from the bill. She could not even be bothered to tell me about the late order herself; she sent the cashier out to me instead. Leonia also insisted that she told me it was a nonrefundable deposit when I know she did not inform me of this. I would have remembered that detail. I was highly disappointed in Leonia's behavior (arguing with the customer and holding no accountability). The owner did not introduce himself when we were initially discussing the party until we asked who he was. He wandered to our table, stared, stated he was the owner, and walked off. He showed zero interest in us as paying customers.

Refund I would like for this matter to be settled as everything that transpired has caused a great deal of stress and hassle on my part. I believe I am owed a refund of the $50 for the poor customer service and omission of information. I have reached out to the corporate office via email. I received a response from corporate that I would get contact from the owner directly, but I still have not heard from the owner. I have copies of the original complaint, purchase receipts, and the email if needed.

I have call this customer several times to discuss this complaint and to solve it. I haven't heard back from this customer. I'm in the store every day normal in the afternoon or evening. She can come and meet with me, I have no problem returned or sending her the $50.00. My contact number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.

I want to note that phone was not the best way to reach me as I am unable to answer calls during most of the day. I cannot verify whether or not I received these calls. I provided an email address and received zero emails from this owner since putting in the original complaint with corporate. I'm disappointed no formal apology has been offered for the incident either. I accept the response.
