I paid a $3000 deposit to get a new roof. 3months later my roof is still leaking causing more damage and I am without my money.On July 21st I filed an insurance claim on my leaking roof. [redacted] gave me a quote and 3 days after I received my insurance check I paid him the initial deposit of $3000. Since then I have been trying to get him to put a roof on my still leaking house. He has told me so many different lies and stories on why he can't do it. 1 month ago I asked for my money back and he stated he didn't have it to please let him do the job that his [redacted] was sick with a [redacted] and they needed the money. She even called me herself. He stated it would be done the very next week and his business would be closing down the rest of the year after doing my house due to her sickness. The roof never got done and he is stating that I won't get my money because the shingles that were ordered were special order shingles. So because he can't get his money back for the shingles then I can't get my deposit back. His business is still actively advertising their monthly specials on [redacted]. Looks as though that was a lie also. He is still running his business. Desired SettlementI wish to get my $3000 deposit back, OR get with his supply house where he gets the materials and get a receipt for the supplies and he pay us for the difference between the cost of the supplies and the $3000 deposit we gave him. We will take the supplies and get someone else to put them on.

Desired SettlementHE OWES ME 2220.00 . I WISH VERY MUCH FOR SOMEONE TO PUT A STOP TO THIS MAN BUSSINESS.SOMEONE SAID THAT THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME HE HAS DONE THISto someone.
