Review: I had a full kithchen remodel initiated walls were torn down, and the kitchen completely gutted. The work started about Feb 2013, everything went along fine until towards the end of the job maybe 5 weeks later. There was no official contract, or bid all communication was done via email or text.There were many things that needed fixing and/or done incorrectly or not finished. For example:*Kitchen granite counter top is coming appart at the seem where sink is located.*Caulking around the sink is peeling *Soap dispenser on wrong side of sink*Floor tiles crooked*Floor molding, wall molding*Alarm sensor put back wrong*My doors were not put back on correctly and needed to be fixed*I cleanded the floor after the floor was grouted, the guy was in a hurry and had to leave- never came back. *Moulding is missing from behind the fridge.*Surge outlets near the sink were not put in, just reg outlets.*I put all the shelving in the cabinets - contractors never came back*Cabinets measured wrong where I had to compromise on what I wanted because of his measureing mistake.*A corner cabinet could not open due to incorrect measurements.Bottom line - The contractor took my money and never came back to finish the job completely. Never called me back.An Amish gentlemen ([redacted]) made all the cabinets and [redacted] works closely with him every day. [redacted] never returned my phone calls never finshed the job.In good faith [redacted] came out two weeks ago (Over 1 YEAR LATER)to finish the molding work and a couple other issue. [redacted] only came out because I held $6400.00 from him until the work was completed. [redacted] has not been paid in full.However there are mistakes that [redacted] made that should have never been made. He has ignored my phone calls and never made an effort to address the issues.I feel that as a single female I was taken advantage off. I paid [redacted] in full and he left me with crappy work and an unfinished kitchen. I want people to know that he conducts business in a very poor unorganized manner.Desired Settlement: $3000.00 for the Cabinets that were mis measured.I want replacement of the Granite Countertop that is coming appart at a seem in the middle of the sink. Haveing a new countertop will fix the soap dispenser which is currently on the wrong side, and will fix the issue with the caulk around the sink. Replacement is approx. $4000.00 per the Granite Co initially used.All other work has been completed by [redacted] in he good faith attempt to make me happy and complete the job.
