The company refused to refund me for a cancelled flight.
I booked a flight in May on skyscanner and I used my trip,3 days later the flight got cacelled and I requested a refund on May30th. After many attempts to contact my trip and not getting anywhere I asked my bank for assistance since I used my credit card.After that I was able to communicate with my trip and they said I had to drop the case with the bank and they will refund me, I did that and more time went by and no refund. At this point I reopened the dispute through my bank but then the bank sent me a letter saying they don't see a billing error. It is obvious there has been an error, I paid $943.52 for a flight that gor cancelled.The bank suggested I contact Revdex.com to assist me. I contacted my trip after I got the letter from the bank and they told me the same thing,if I wanted my refund I needed to drop the case with my bank, which I obviously didn't do considering my previous experience. I understand wity covid things can be delayed but I got a refund from another company for a different flight already, so I don't see what's the delay. My trip seems shady and they definitely handling this wrong, I know by law I am entitled to my refund. I read many reviews on this company and none of them are positive, I wish I would have read them before I book through them. My refund case number is *** and it was requested on May 30th. I bought the ticket on May 25th, May 28th they changed my flight date and May 30th they cancelled. Their excuse for not refunding is they are waiting for the airline, I also contacted the airline and they said there is nothing to do with them. I hope this gets resolved as soon as possible.
