Me and my friends made reservations under the name of *** for the weekend of August 16th to 18th. Upon check out I was charged 342.32. On Friday, August 23rd I was charged once again for 342.32. I called and spoke to *** , who I believe is the supervisor, he seen the charge and told me he would issue me a refund and would show in my account in 12 hours. The next morning I checked and seen no refund so I called around 9:30 am and spoke to ***. I wanted to speak to a manager to find out what happed because I have a automatic payment that would be withdrawing money from my account causing it to overdraft due to them not getting my money back into my account in the 12 hour period the told me. At this point I wanted to know how this happened and why. *** told me the supervisor was busy and she would have someone call me back. It hit 2 or 3 and I haven’t received a call so I called and spoke to *** once again.Since my conversation with *** was getting me no where I did ask to speak to someone above him. I was then tranfered to ***, I’m not sure if that was her name. She let me know that they refunded the amount and that if the bank holds it their is nothing more she can do. I then asked about their procedure and how I got charged twice. She told me that “when we don’t see the receipt for the charge of the room we then call so that we can make the charge”.They told me they reached out and left me a voicemail but I have yet to receive one.So they took it upon themselves to charge my card for the stay that I have already paid for. The woman I believe to be *** ended the call by saying “ your overacting, their is nothing we can do” and hung up on me. I work hard for my money and for someone to just take it without my permission is very upsetting.Out of all three conversations I had with this staff they did not apologize or reassure me that it wouldn’t happen again, they only apologized after I pointed it out saying its bad customer service and they are unprofessional.
