I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I am attaching pictures from myshopangel.com website many hours after my first call, showing that the price offered was still there all the timeI did call several times trying to talk to somebody at the management level to place the order, but it was not possible. I've been their customer for years and that is why I am very surprised about My Shop Angel not honoring the announced priceIn business, there can be human errors or mistakes, but if you care about the customers you stick to them and honor the offered price and then solve the errorI am guessing that they don't care about me being a loyal customerand maybe they want me to go away, but MY SHOP ANGEL is not complying with a Better Business way of doing business, if they can attract customers with UNREAL LOW PRICES and then: surprise!the price at shopping cart is three times more than the promoted oneRegards, *** ***
This person did call our office numerous times on date mentionedThe first time he called he actually reached myself as I was covering the phones to cover lunch breaksThe client wanted to buy an item but said when he went to purchase it the price in the shopping cart didnt match the ad on our
pageI looked up the information and explained the cart price was correct and the graphic on the website was incorrectThe price on the website was approximately $less as we had the number one instead of the number four for the dollar amountI apologized for the inconvenience, told him the cart was correct so he wanted me to help him with the order I couldI gave him the total amount that would be dueHe said no thank you and the call ended.*** called again and spoke to another representative and they had the same exact conversation, how this was an error and the correct cart price was there, just the graphic was wrongShe told him we would be fixing the graphic as soon as possible and apologized for the inconvenience*** called again and spoke to a different representativeThey discussed how the price in the cart was correct and that is the price of the item in questionHe kept asking her why so she put him on hold and gave the call for me to discuss to the ***.I reminded *** of the conversation we had just had about this productI reiterated the fact it was an error and I apologized again for any inconvenienceI explained to him that our webmaster was out sick with the flu or the item would have been changed immediatelyI explained to him that the wrong visual price could not be offered as it was an innocent mistake, looking like the number was put the place of the number and how they are very close on the keyboard*** wanted me to honor the price and I told him I was unable to do so as the cart was correct pricing and the item was not $it was $as stated to him earlier and as seen in the shopping cart if he pushed the buy buttonI told him he could purchase the item at the correct price and we could assist him if he would likeThis is not a bait and switch as statedit was an honest mistakeHere is a link to the item discussed showing the price was corrected the following day as the employee came in to fix this item: *** NEVER PLACED an orderNo money was charged or collected nor was an order even processedAs explained to *** numerous times, this was an oversight and our polices page states:Additional Information As explained to *** we cannot sell this item to him for $as it costs much more than that for us to make the item.Please let me know if you have any questions or need further information.
