My Container Now

A couple of months ago I purchased a 40' HC one-time with a roll-up door and custom paint from My Container Now. I visited their physical location and spoke with their sales people. We agreed to a price ($8150) and delivery date. I had to pay up front because they were modifying the container. I have never heard back from them. There are a lot of Facebook Marketplace scams with these shipping containers (see the BBB - Better Business Bureau article regarding Shipping Container fraud). I thought that by visiting the container site that I was doing my due-diligence but it seems crooks will be crooks. They do not return emails, texts or voicemails and their website contact is broken. I am now pursuing legal action.
I would highly recommend that you use a different container company. I believe that many of the 'good' My Container Now reviews are friends of the company and/or it could be that this company is going out-of-business soon and so they won't be returning correspondences. Be careful, never pay upfront for a shipping container and I suggest that you find another container seller to do business with.
