To whom it may concern,ecoair was contracted by the homeowners home warranty to repairMs*** air conditioner on 6/20/ After the initial inspection it was found that the compressor was not turning on After replacing the capacitor, the compressor turned on, and at that point, the
technician felt the air flow was low and a cause for concern Technician notes:"At first compressor would not come on replaced run capacitor mfd compressor started up and ranTheir airflow is horrible recommended cleaning $on blower and coilAnd to spray down condenser coilCustomer talked about replacing unit I qouted them $To replace coil and do a condenser on patioAnd run new linesetThey said they are going to look around and get back to us ByGreg H***on06/21/2017@8:21am” Air flow restriction creates problems with air conditioning It is also difficult to test an air conditioner and it’s refrigerant charge when a restriction is present On 7/14/a cleaning was performed.Diagnosing air conditioning issues are not always black and white This air conditioner from exhibited multiple issues Unfortunately ecoair made several attempts to revive this AC not to Ms*** satisfaction Understandably so…her air conditioner had failed in the hottest time of the year Hopefully anyone concerned can see that the air conditioning system needed to be cleaned from the pictures above As the owner of the ecoair, I do my darnedest to create a culture of doing what’s right for the client And with that I trust my technicians are making good recommendations to our clients Additionally, when working with the warranty company, we need to make every attempt to repair the air conditioner We are not allowed to replace equipment even if it is years old.As the owner I again apologize to Ms*** for any frustration, inconvenience and having to live in sweltering conditions at the hottest time of the year.As a resolution with Ms***, ecoair refunded $of the $she spent with us on 7/18/2017.Eric R***[email protected]
