My response to this complaint filed by [redacted] .It is true that We entered into a contract to build her house in [redacted] It is also true that we do not have any signed change orders between usShe did however make changes to the project, that impacted the costs, of which she did not inform me of and also signed contracts with sub contractors, both of which are violations of our contractI found out of these additional costs at the end, when I received invoices for work that I did not approve, thus not allowing me time to write and have her approve change ordersHer fiance at the time, a [redacted] , was on the job on her behalf, almost daily, ranting and complaining about the work being done and giving instructions to sub contractors. This created a lot of turmoil and chaos on the job site and it became increasingly difficult to track the work and the workers as well as maintain a scheduleThey brought in their own sub contractors for some of the workAll of these are violations of our contract. She also states that the house was vandalizedWhat she has left out, as she has told me, is that this vandalism was done by some high school students at a late night party down the street as a prank and is in no way related to the issues of sub contractors being paid or notIt raises the question as to what is truthful and what is not in her complaint. My company is doing its best to satisfy the obligations to sub contractors and we have been paying the bills we feel we are obligated toIt is our contention that Julie is liable for cost overages that she either engaged in on her own or that she knowingly exceeded her budget and thus adding to what she is liable forWe shall due what is necessary to collect on money that she is responsible to pay

inform me of and also signed contracts with sub contractors, both of which are violations of our contract. I found out of these additional costs at the end, when I received invoices for work that I did not approve, thus not allowing me time to write and have her approve change orders. Her fiance at the time, a [redacted], was on the job on her behalf, almost daily, ranting and complaining about the work being done and giving instructions to sub contractors. This created a lot of turmoil and chaos on the job site and it became increasingly difficult to track the work and the workers as well as maintain a schedule. They brought in their own sub contractors for some of the work. All of these are violations of our contract. She also states that the house was vandalized. What she has left out, as she has told me, is that this vandalism was done by some high school students at a late night party down the street as a prank and is in no way related to the issues of sub contractors being paid or not. It raises the question as to what is truthful and what is not in her complaint. My company is doing its best to satisfy the obligations to sub contractors and we have been paying the bills we feel we are obligated to. It is our contention that Julie is liable for cost overages that she either engaged in on her own or that she knowingly exceeded her budget and thus adding to what she is liable for. We shall due what is necessary to collect on money that she is responsible to pay.
