Good Morning, In reviewing the detail of this shipment I find that the delivery appointment was made for 7/Our GPS records support the fact that the driver did arrive at that delivery location on 7/at 1:PMThe driver was operating that day with a tractor and 42ft trailer equipped
with a liftgateIt was in the opinion of the driver unsafe to deliver in this equipment as there was no place to park.As a result the the shipment was returned to the terminal and sent out on a much smaller straight truck with a liftgate.the next dayThe driver arrived at 3:PM and was at the delivery stop for minutes.Given the size of the shipment the driver may have requested assistanceOur trucks are staffed with a single driver unless notified otherwise.We apologize for any concern that you may have, but feel that the shipment was delivered in a timely manner given the change in equipment needed for residential delivery. This same response was received months ago and to date no funds have been received. Claim has been approved, but it has never been paid. Land Air Express is failing to actually pay the claim. Regards,
