Murfin Brothers Water Systems

Worst water company ever. Present themselves to be experts but so far from truth. Thousands of dollars spent and equipment was fried within months. They do not know not to treat hard water. They sell you equipment that according to real experts made no sense at all. Unfortunately as you will read our experience is the norm. They have a horrible reputation in Waterdown, Flamborough and surrounding area. No one recommends Murfin. I wish I had read the reviews or comments in many community groups. Save your money, time and frustration and really do your due diligence and hire professionals. I am surprised they are still open and haven’t tried to change their name. I don’t know how Mike sleeps at night but then I think quite well as he doesn’t care. It’s all about money and scamming his customers. Check out other reviews to confirm this is a common experience

I would not recommend this company for anything but the simplest water systems. We had nothing but problems with the equipment they installed. Although the equipment was of good quality, they weren't able to get it working properly. We found out later that they had misprogrammed our iron filters so they were essentially non-functional. The installation plumbing was sloppy and did not balance the flow to the filters. They always found somebody else to blame for what went wrong in what turned out to be a comedy of errors. We ended up disconnecting most of the equipment and going to trucked in water to our cistern. We are going to try another water treatment company to get back onto our well, so we may be putting the equipment back online, but with correct programming this time.
