Review: I paid in full the invoice. I have a cancelled check indicating so. I have at least twice written to the service provider indicating so, each time enclosing a copy of the cancelled check. The service provider nonetheless turned my account over to a collection agency. I phone the service provider and spoke with one of their employees, who indicated that this may be due to their application of my check to another account, by accident. They promised to get back to me within 24 hours but over a month has passed and I still have not heard back from them. I received yet another collection letter from their collection agency, and again called the service provider about that.Desired Settlement: I want the service provider to cease trying to collect this paid debt from me, to acknowledge that the debt was paid in full and to remediate any issue this may have created in my credit rating status.
