My husband (***) and I purchased a trip to *** scheduled for October 7, 2019 through Ms Mac's Teach and Travel LLC. We paid $1250.00 for this trip. We purchased the advertised travel insurance through(Travel Insured International).The schedule trip was Tour # *** with ***
In August, 2019 I found out that I had breast cancer. I had a mastectomy on September 11, 2019. Once I discovered that I had health issues and was advised by my doctor that my husband and I should not make the trip I immediately contacted my travel agent Kelli M and began to follow her advice. This first contact with my travel agent was made on September 5, 2019.
I have received a $425 check (as a partial refund) from Ms Mac's Teach and Travel LLC but have not yet received my full refund. I have contacted Kelli M to inquire about my full refund and have not been satisfied with her response. I have called both the insurance company and Diamond Tours and both companies refer me back to my travel agent.
I am filing this complaint because I want my full refund and do not know how to handle this confusing dilemma other than this recourse.
