Mr. Roof

Not happy at all with this roofing company. They made promises and did not stick to them. The sales rep. Said our roof would get completed in one day, and that what the insurance agreeded upon is the price we would pay for a new roof, and the installers would clean up their mess. They started the roof on a Thursday and did not complete it that day, came back on Saturday to complete, they did but they left a mess, so we had to wait until Monday for someone to come out and clean it up, did not do a very good job we are still finding shingles and roofing nails. We get the bill from Mr Roof with it saying we have so many days to pay it, I called them and told them that as soon was we get the money from the insurance company we would pay them. The insurance company called and asked if a window screen was replaced and we said no only the roof, they said that they had in the bill that they replaced a screen and would call Mr Roof and tell them that we did not have that done. Then the insurance company sent us a check to pay Mr Roof and we also got a bill from Mr Roof asking for more then the insurance was willing to pay, we contacted Mr Roof and was informed by a very unfriendly and nasty woman that we are to pay the difference. We sent in the money that the insurance sent and I wrote on the bill that we were not going to pay the difference for we did not have a screen replaced. For several weeks they kept sending us a bill and finally we got hold of a nicer woman who said she would contact billing and they would contact us. After receiving 3 more notices from Mr Roof we got a call from billing and were informed that we were paid in full and that we owed them nothing. I cannot refer this company to any of my neighbors or friends. They are not nice to deal with.
