Mr Handyman of Fairfax and Eastern Loudoun Counties

Review: I hired this **. Handyman company to do my home repairs on Monday July 22, 2013 over the phone as I received their flyers through the neighborhood. We discussed and agreed the $844.00 labor charge on eight hours for one man, half time if two men plus materials (with unknown amount) for four front lower window trims, a front door trim, and three front steps rises. During this phone conversation, they did not discuss their term and condition and other hidden charges involving in the job with me beside the labor cost. They then asked for my credit card number up front and I gave it to them as my trusty. When their persons arrived on Thursday 25 for the work, they attempted to charge me for roughly $1,100 on labor plus $350+ for materials, and many hidden charges on delivery materials and disposal debris that I never hear of before. In addition, their persons did not even guarantee me on the door trim to be repair successfully because the difficulty of the task, if they have to take the job. I canceled the deal with this company thereafter based on their dishonesty and the false advertising the abilities to do home repair works. On July 26, they charged me $256.00 for just sending their people over even did not doing any works, and got the money through my credit card. I was stunned because I never hear of this charge before, and never accepted the charge with them either verbally or in written statement with my signature in it.Desired Settlement: I demand this company MUST repay the $256.00 to my credit card. I request the Revdex.com to take any actions, if you can, against **.Handyman Co. for dishonest, false advertising, and riff-off business and protect my right of Customer Satisfactory. Please help!
