I made a deposit to this business to start repairs, which was cashed the same day, on October 3, 2018. Four times they failed to show up for scheduled appointment times. I asked for my deposit back. Initially he said he sent it. The next time stated that he forgot to send it. Next he said he'd mail it. It didn't come in the mail the next week. I called again today November 1, 2018 and he said he didn't have time and it wasn't very much money anyway. I have text messages between us, not phone conversations.
I just want my money back and am tired of lies. Is my 3 hours of time each of the 4 times they failed to show not valuable also?

Mr Gutter is a great gutter business. They did great work on gutters for my house! They matched the color to our house perfectly! They gave us a great price!
This company is terrible. We hired them last fall to replace one gutter and clean the others. They did not show up on the appointed day, did not call to reschedule etc. When we called them they claimed some schedule miscommunication with the workers. Finally got them out to get the work done and it seemed to be okay. Over the winter we noticed the gutters were running over in places and this spring got on the roof to check it out. The gutter they replaced was holding water ie. not hung at the correct angle. Called and the owner said he would send someone out the next day to do warranty work. Okay fine. No one showed up the next day, no phone call. Nothing. I called back to see what happened, the guy said he had sent a text about rescheduling. We did not get any such text and had taken the day off work to get this fixed. He swears he'll be out early the next morning. Sends a text at 6:30am that he'll be over early. Showed up at 11am. Then said he could not fix the gutter/did not know how. Ended up rehanging the gutter ourselves. Waste of time and money. Terrible communication. Terrible company
It's a Structral problem that needs to be fixed we told the to adjust the vinyl siding and we would come back out and Re hang the gutter section
Its holding a 1/2 Of water they are complaining about me the owner of the company personally came out took the gutter apart and it could not be re pitched
I told him we the vinyl siding needed to be taken down 1 inch to fix the water holding in the trough.
The husband said I will take care of it don't worry about it.
I told him are you sure he said. Yes. I do remodling I can fix it no worries. All good.
Then I get this review not from him but from his wife.
It's something they have to fix First that was something structural. Not what we do The bay window is holding that angle and needs to be fixed before we can do our job.
Really did not deserve this bad review.
Reason why we had to re schedule first time was became it rained and we had to move the job out. We are not responsible for the weather.
The wife just posted this and I don't understand why.

We had a contractor come out to look at what the guy from the gutter company said is "structural." The contractor said there is no problem with the vynal and that he could fix the gutter in 20 minutes. The man from the gutter company said he could not fix it until we hired someone else. Why was I charged $300 to hang this new gutter and not told anything about any problems with the vynal last year when this was first installed? Very shady business practuces.
Never said there was anything wrong with the vinyl. It needs to be lowered so you can lower the gutter trough really you need new gutters on your house and don't want to spend the money witch is fine. I'm not a shady company been in business 20 years and we are professionals We care about our Customers and our work. The gutter is only holding 1/2 of water on one side I told you how to fix it and you did not want to do it only go online and Talk People down. I truly think you are just a person that no matter what I could not make you happy. Maybe you are going through a lot of personal things in life and want to take it out on other people. But either way I hope you get it worked out. I care about our work and my Customers I love my company and Helping People. I hope you have a great day and you get all your problems sorted out. Due to inadequate services, Mr. Gutter promised me a refund for the job they did at my house. This amount was agreed to March, 1 2018.
I hired Mr. Gutter to clean my gutters. The job was completely botched in three areas. The estimator charged me for a 35' ladder on my job. The extra tall ladder was not needed to complete the service per the technicians.
The manager/owner never called me on the day of my scheduled service. I had to call him multiple times to eventually find out they wouldn't be making it that day. They ended up coming out the next day.
The technicians did not clean all of my gutters. Two rows were completely untouched. I found out the next weekend while repairing a post on my upper deck. They were completely plugged with debris. I have date stamped pictures to prove this. I ended up finishing the job on my own. The next week I contacted the owner to let him know about the situation and that I wanted a refund. Long story short he agreed to a $100 refund which I never received. It has been over a month since that agreement was made.
I want the $100 refund I was promised in writing.
Never promised a refund on his money he was upset because the job was done to fast. It was only a Gutter Cleaning to clean his gutters that is all it was, we did the job very fast he was upset because he said for that much money it should not take that short of time to this is all we do just gutters all the time every day for 20 years that is all we do we do nothing else. Then he said he wanted $100 of his money back because the job was done too fast
I don't understand we are in the business to make money we never promised him a refund. It is all about the money he just wants his money back that is it because he said that we did the job too fast
I told if there was a problem with the job that we would come back and that we would fix it for him we would actually do it the next morning he told me I do not want you to come back to my property I just want you to give me my money back
He's only mad because we did the job very fast does not take long for two guys to clean out gutters on a job
I really don't know what to say about this guy he is just mad because of our time he said that he does not make this much money at work why should somebody cleaning gutters do a job so fast and make $350 and a (2 1/2 story home on the edge of a bluff)
He signed a contract and we never agreed to give him his money back. We have been in business since 2002 and we have never had somebody that is so irate as this person I do not understand how to make them happy I do not understand how to make him pleased. All he he does is he wants his money back and we cannot give him his money back I can also send the signed contract that he signed we clean his gutters out on his house even told him that I would give him another going to Gutter Cleaning for free, if he wanted, he said I do not want you on my property I only want my money back
So basically he wanted us to do the Gutter Cleaning for FREE!!!!!!
Then he calls back and says you Should at least give me $100 of my money back
I told him that we cannot do that
I truly believe that business is all about customers And if it was not for customers we would not be in business I believe that with all of my heart but I also believe that we should not have to give money back after completing a task or a job
I even offered him more free services even offered him a free Gutter Cleaning I offered him to come back the very next morning to fix anything if you seen anything
Oh he kept saying was I want my money back for no reason we cant work for free if He wants us to come fix something we will or clean them again for free NO Charge.

It was not about the speed of the job. I am all about speed if a job is completed correctly. It was about the fact that it was not completed and the other issues I highlighted previously with their service. I am not irate, I just want the money back that was promised to me. Attached is a screenshot of the agreement between Mr. Gutter and myself. It is date stamped March 1st as I said previously.
This was taken care of and responded too.
It was resolved I paid him his money he was wanted.
Why do you say unresolved. He is happy now.

He is happy. We sent him his money back. Like he wanted. Was resolved
