Revdex.com:For the record; the definition of stealing is "to take another person's property without permission or legal right."The filter in the basement did not belong to Mr. Cool. They took it without our permission to install in a furnace for which it didn't even fit. Therefore, our personal property was stolen. Westminster Police Department WAS contacted and the choice was given to us whether or not to pursue criminal charges. We decided to give Mr. Cool a chance to resolve the matter without law enforcement involvement. We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory. We did install a new RTU for the customer. The complaint was regarding air conditioning unit. The air conditioning unit did work during summer time until we received a call that it stopped working. We did go and diagnos the problem and found the filter had not been changed which causes air...
conditioner to freeze up. We did change out filters at that time. About two weeks later [redacted] called again and said it was down again. Again we went to follow up and found that the expansion valve was not working, this part regulates the refrigerant flow. At this time it is winter time. So we explained since its a warranty issue we had to go thru the process of ordering part thru manufacture which we did. It took two weeks to arrive and found it to be the incorrect part. So we had to ship it out and reorder part. Part finally arrived January 2, 2016. We went out on January 4th to install the part. This is a long procedure where we need to recover refrigerant, remove and install new part, pressure test, and pull vacuum then recharge system with refrigerant. We also changed out filer and repaired there existing duct work at no cost.[redacted] requested for the owner to call her, which I personally (owner) went in her office to talk to her several times and explained the situation. We could not speed up the process in aquireing the warranty part. When we repaired unit I personally (owner) went and told her that it was fixed. She told me that she wanted to talk to owner and I explained I was the owner and for some reason she did not believe me.In short we did repair the RTU that we installed.Thank you[redacted]OwnerMr. Cool heating and cooling
So very untrue what this customer has stated. They clearly stated that they needed a new.furnace so the house would sell. We quoted a price for furnace install and we did charge $200.00 for a permit which cover the cost of permit 1 hour labor and travel to city. We used existing filter for their...
furnace temporarily until we.brought correct filter the following day. We did not want to run furnace without filter. We.did.not STEAL a.filter we.used it for their furnace. These customer were very hard to work for they were very racial towards us. But we kept profession and.completed work. Inspector passed furnace install the first visit. He called us and.told us about.cilter which we came and changed out. Not sure why these customers were so rude to us. We will refund money for.filter no problem. But not for permit since it was quoted and.approved by owner.
