MR Boots

Review: I ordered a pair of boots that I gave as a gift to someone. They were on sale for $75. I was shocked when I saw both boots had the white lining sticking out with frayed strings hanging everywhere in the zipper area. When I tried to purchase the boots I could not get the sale to go thru online. They contacted me by e-mail and I made the purchase but they did not say the boots had any flaws or defects. They sent me a call tag after telling me it was "a cosmetic flaw & can easily be shortened w/a pair of scissors and some patience." Now they say I can't return them because the soles are scratched and cannot be sold as new according to their policy. (The boots were worn in the house while getting ready to go out.)They did not inform me there was a cosmetic defect with the lining & white strings hanging from top to bottom of both zippers in both boots at the time of purchase. I feel like they were dishonest about the boots in the beginning and are unwilling to do the right thing and return my money. There is a difference in a sale boot and flawed boots. I would like my money returned.[redacted]Desired Settlement: Return my money to my credit card.
