We had MrB's Air Duct Cleaning come to our house and were very pleased with the service we received Not only did they arrive exactly on time, they conducted themselves professionally and proceeded to do the work exactly as promisedThey also explained the procedure and answered any questions we had about the process
I would highly recommend them
The best! Last time we used another company because they were cheaperNever againThis has been SO much more thorough, and is absolutely worth the money for 5-years of cleaner air and lower utility bills
We just had our ducts cleaned today and we are extremely impressedEveryone was friendly and professional-from scheduling until the gentlemen left, it was top notch serviceOur home was a foreclosure, had been closed up for over a year and someone had been running a kerosene heater as wellNeedless to say, after seeing all the dust, dirt and grime they caught in their huge HEPA filter, I wish we had done this sooner! The sanitizer they sprayed in afterwards smells nice alsoThe cost was a flate rate, given to us at scheduling and there were no hidden chargesIt was worth every pennyWhen the need arises, we will definitely use MrB's again
Chris and Hayden, two employees of MrB's, came to clean our air ducts on Monday, August 22nd, They hit some traffic on the way here, which is totally understandableBecause of that, they showed up 30-minutes late, but I was getting the house ready to get cleaned (moving furniture, rugs, etc), so it was actually kind of nice that they were late
Chris and Hayden seemed like really nice guysThey were kind and respectful in their communications with meBut their work ethic was a whole other thing; they did not do a good jobAfter an hour and a half, when they were about to finish up, I asked them if they were going to use the rotor brush with the vacuum (I'd done a little research before)They said they could do thatThey got some of their equipment back out and did soBut if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't have done it
I thanked them for using the rotor brush and they said it was no problemThey packed their things and headed outI should have looked at the state of our house before letting them go Every space around the air vents were filthy (about 6' on every side of the air vent), which meant it got all over the carpets, couch, guitars, books, our kids toys, kitchen table, and lots moreIt took about two hours to clean up the mess they made
More than that, Chris and Hayden left a bunch of smudge marks on the walls, which wasn't a big deal since it easily cleaned up with soap, water and a washcloth, but it's the principle of the thingThey came to clean, not leave our house a mess
I called MrB's and spoke to Mark, the guy who books their appointments, and he offered to take $off the price after I asked him what he could give me for the trouble$seemed insulting to me (for the two hours of cleanup I did), so I asked for another $off (I should have asked for more)He agreedWith the coupon I found online, that meant $offSo instead of $it was $But with the two hours of cleanup we had to do, $off didn't seem worth it
UPDATE: A few weeks after service, MrB called me himself and apologized for the serviceAs a gesture of good will, he fully refunded the $I paidHe said he doesn't want to ever work with customers who aren't fully satisfied
