Our car purchased was advertised as having keyless entry and cruise control. Also stated car had no issues. The car was a rebuilt title. The salesman guaranteed us the car had no issues and it did have keyless remote. Just needed to purchase the remote. The advertisement on *** also stated it had cruise and keyless entry. The car did not. Also the car had a bad cv axel and the bumper was falling off after we drove it home. They told us no issues and it would be safe for our ***. It’s not. Also they told me the tpms tire sensor light just needed reset. It was bad as well.
They were dishonest from the start. And we have been out a lot of money just to get the car safe.
They basically threw the bumper etc together to get the car sold and now will not respond to us.
Complaint # ***Mr. bought a vehicle from our used car lot. All vehicles have a description printed off and attached to the vehicles, which has the features of the units based off the VIN which is listed from the the manufacture. M & R Auto Sales has not had any type of contact from the customer. M & R Auto Sales takes pride in the vehicles we sell to our community and our customers. M & R Auto Sales also thoroughly goes over the vehicles that are sold and has a check point system in place where the vehicles are thoroughly gone over bumper to bumper, at a local reputable auto body shop, tire shop, AND mechanic shop. There is no warranty on the vehicles sold as they are usually outside of the manufacture warranty and all vehicles are sold, "as is." Customers are given ample time to test drive, and look over the vehicle they may wish to purchase. We do not rush our customers into buying a vehicle as our concern is they are satisfied with the vehicle that is right for them in whatever they may choose. Mr. states that he was told the vehicle in question had keyless entry and cruise control. Based off the vin in the features listed from the manufacture on this specific vehicle, that would be true as that is the information we get from the database that the manufacture listed. The unit did not have the keyless remote at the time of the sell, that is true, however, Mr. came and test drove the unit TWICE and visibly inspected the unit more than an hour aside from test driving. I can not speak on the CV axle or TPS sensors as there was no issue with it prior to the car being sold as stated previously, it went through inspection points. I apologize that Mr. is having an issue with a unit he bought, however, he signed an as is warranty therefore, I do not think that we should trade in on a different model or give him his money back. Who is to say, his 16 year old daughter just didn't like the car itself. At this point it is a he said she said and the one time that we were contacted by Mr., these concerns were not brought up as stated in the complaint. I am very sorry that he is dissatisfied with his purchase for his child, but he was given ample time to test drive and inspect the vehicle numerous times before buying it, which he came and test drove and looked the car over TWICE.
I HAVE never dealt with such a dishonest car lot in my life. I only test drove the car once. That is a total lie about twice. Also I have a a video from their false advertising on Facebook where they stated the car had keyless entry and cruise control. It states it right on their advertisement page for the car. When I asked them about it they told me all I needed was to purchase the keyless remote and the keyless entry would work. My daughter can testify to this. Also my wife called the car lot and spoke to them on the phone about it and asked them if they were for sure the car was safe for our 16 year old. She has this phone call recorded. He said absolutely yes. As far as the tire sensor, he knew about this as well. He even drove the car across the street to the tire shop to have it looked at. he said the light would go off after we drove it a few miles. So another lie. He said they had a top notch body man repair the bumper on the car. The next day we arrived home the bumper came loose on the drivers side.we have texts from them we sent back and forth. So they knew we were having issues. He said he would talk to the boss and try to get it fixed. We have copy of the texts. I also sent emails with no response. I have pictures of the bumper falling off as well. We asked them to at least repair the bumper and they stated they would let us know. No word back. So for one they falsely advertised with the options of the car. They also lied straight to a 16 year olds face about the condition of the car and the options. We told them she was paying with her own money and he assured us it had the options and not one thing wrong with the car. So I am asking for the bumper to be repaired and a reimbursement for the cv axel repair and the tpms sensor cost we endured and them to install a keyless entry or trade in for a new car. I’d love to provide the texts and the phone call and the Facebook copy of their false advertisement. This is the truth
