The end of October, I had a guy named Tannet K come out for an estimate on siding project. He said he represented ***. I liked the product and signed a contract. I was referred by him to First interstate bank for financing. I was told that the owner of *** usually just picks up the check from the bank and then we can schedule the installation date. It was a back and forth with Tanner K, until there was no response at all. So I contacted his boss Michael C, who for a week had all kinds of excuses. All of a sudden he was no longer an owner of *** and I had to contact them for the job. I did , just to find out they never received the money. I contacted the bank and found out that he walked into the bank and requested to have the check made out to MPYR construction. I found out later that he deposited the check in his bank account and payed the employees wages he owed them. He still refuses to do the job and sees no responsibility to do it
Unfortunately, Mike C misrepresented himself, his abilities, and his services in a variety of ways.
He gave us 2 different personal names, 3 different company names and did not complete our projects in the time he said he would; nor did he use the materials that he was suppose to.
I had to contact him innumerable times over the course of a 5 month timeline to finish a project that he had stated would be completed in two weeks.
I found him originally here on the Revdex.com listed under ABC Seamless, he later said his personal company name was MPYR Construction, and he also has a company called Paramount Exterior Co.
He DBA (Does Business As) both Mike C and as Mike C. He has a multitude of phone numbers and email addresses so he is VERY difficult to reach.
After contacting ABC Seamless headquarters in Fargo, I was eventually given the names of the previous company owners here in the Boise area. As of today's date we paid 50% of our deposit and eventually got half of the job completed.
We hope no one else gets ensnared in any business dealings with this man nor any of his companies.
After calling abc seamless, a representative came to our house and gave us a quote, which we all signed. That was the 30th of November. ON the 24th of December, we wrote a check out to abc seamless of Idaho, for 1/2 of the total quote. It was cashed that day. It has now been 8 weeks, and we have no siding, and no future siding. After contacting Steve B, he claims no responsibility to the missing $13,500.00, nor will he begin siding on our house. He refuses to honor our contract, and claims that because we had the words "of Idaho" on the check, it wasn't his business. There is an obvious disagreement between Mike, the contractor, and Steve the franchise owner, and we are left in the middle. We demanded payment or siding, and instead, Steve came to our house to tell us all about Mike's shady business dealings. He advised us to get an attorney and file jointly with other dissatisfied customers. This is unprofessional, and illegal. our contract and check must be honored. We are looking for help but don't know where to turn.
and representative Mike C agreed via contract to make facia and soffit repairs to my home beginning of November with 50% down prior to beginning and 50% remaining payment after completion. After multiple statements of
me being on the schedule to complete work from Mike and the *** team via phone call from me to them for 2 months no work has begun and no one from *** calls me. After I call multiple times to reach Mike and the office and several messages no attempts to reach me appear to have been made and a fear fraudulent practices. After over 2 months of promises to start my home repairs and little communication from *** and Mike to remedy this I want resolution immediately as I have paid the 50% to start totaling $336.50 but have had zero work done. Ultimately I no longer have faith in this company or their representatives and demand an immediate refund.
I used *** to install a small section of gutter at my home on Sep 10, 2019. Since it was a small job they encouraged me to pay the full amount rather than a deposit. I paid the full amount (that was my fault - I realize now that since they had my money they would have no incentive to fix any mistakes). I discovered they installed the wrong gutter type and began a process of trying to get them to fix the mistake. I left multiple messages, texts and phone calls and could get no one to return my messages or calls. Why should they - they already had my money. I have a text record from Oct 6 to Dec 27 detailing my efforts to resolve this. I have called the *** office weekly for 3 months and the nice receptionist assures me Mike will call me back before the end of the day. We have had that conversation at least a dozen times. I am at my wits end and am turning to the Revdex.com to see if they can help me resolve this issue. The customer service has been extremely poor to non-existent. I could never recommend *** to anyone based on my personal experience.
